Anterior Cervical Decompression and Fusion (ACDF) is a common, effective surgical procedure, with 85%–95% success rates, to treat neck pain and nerve compression by removing a damaged disc from the front of the neck. The surgeon clears the disc to relieve nerve pressure and fuses the vertebrae using a bone graft and plate.
